The bus pulled out from JFH on time - that is 6 pm - this evening. Everyone followed packing guidelines - some maybe should have packed a little bit more, only time will tell. The bus ride went very well. It was quiet and we got everything done that needed to be taken care of (collecting cell phone #, dbl checking forms, talking about room assignments, chaperons etc.) We checked in - 11 rooms on the 5th floor. Many of the kids decided to go to the pool, others hung out in the breakfast area and drank coffee and tea while watching the olympics. We had a chance to meet some of the students from Montevideo and Elkton and also chatted with girls from a high school indoor soccer team. Thomas managed to show off his Superman costume before it was time to return to our rooms at 10 pm. Chaperons collected cell phones and taped the doors from the outside to make sure everyone stays in tonight. The wake up call has been set for 3:30am. The bus will pick us up at 4:15am to take us to the airport.
