Our biggest undertaking and fundraiser was the Longaberger Basket/Vera Bradley Bingo and Silent Auction. Preparations for this event began as soon as we were all back at school in late August. Each student going on the trip was asked to secure two items for the silent action and $50 in donations, sell tickets for a raffle and sell tickets for the actual event. Everyone worked very hard before and during the night of the Bingo/Auction. The turn out was fantastic and we were very successful. The Silent Auction alone brought in $1200.
A lot of hard work that will soon pay off! Only 11 more days until we see warm weather! Can't wait!
